Monteverdi Sierra movement : delivery in the Netherlands

As said per previous blog there was going to be some movement this week. Well, Jos delivered the Monteverdi from France to my place in the Netherlands. This was already planned weeks in advance. At that time the plan was to do the Dutch registration on the same day since it's on a trailer. So when I wanted to make an appointment with the Dutch road register (RDW) it required at least 30 working days (or more pending on their schedule). I tried all of the available RDW locations in the Netherlands but none had availability that week or even the week after. So I now need to charter someone else with a trailer and plan a new date. Likely that will become after my summer holiday leave (hoping that person is available as well). Sigh!

Once it's officially registered we can make a start to get the body work done. Or perhaps dismantle the engine and other pieces as well. I have been given already a body worker name which I need to contact and see what's possible and also find out if it's financially affordable.

Furthermore we made a very interesting visit yesterday and hopefully that person can help us further regarding specific details. Again I can not reveal much more about this.

So here some piccies of the delivery to please the audience
